Friends

We were so close at heart.
But then we suddenly drifted apart.

I know it was my fault.
That I put everything to a halt.

I will remember all the fun times we had.
The good and then the bad.

But all in all we were friends.
That’s all that mattered to me.
But then I had to mess it up.
