My Angel

My teenage years have been rough,
There are times when I just want to give up,
My nerves get so shot,
And I feel like I'm going to erupt,
But then you walk in the door,
While I'm listening to a sad song,
And of course you turn it off,
And ask me what’s wrong,
I explain it you,
And you say it'll be ok,
You give comforting advice,
You make the day a better day,
I want you to know how glad I am,
That you are my dad’s wife,
I don't know what I did to be so blessed,
To have an angel like you in my life,
Here lately things have been hectic,
And I’m sorry that we fight,
Were not going to anymore,
Cause tonight’s a brand new night,
Thank you for putting up with me,
For being so calm,
I want you to know I don't consider you my step mother,
You’re my mom,
There are not enough words to express,
How much you I thank you for everything you do,
Hopefully this will be enough,
I love you,
I'm going to end this now,
Because I’m going to write you a letter,
But I'll talk to you soon,
And I hope you get to feeling better!
