Birth Poem
Of all the gifts she has received she counts her son as #1
My Precious Gift
©
Sharon K. Spears
In my many years
That I've been on God's green earth,
I've never been as blessed
As the day that I gave birth.
My precious baby boy weighed 6lbs. 3.6oz.
And he was a lengthy 19.5 inches long,
The second he was laid upon my chest
I knew right then, forever he'd belong.
Having my son, Michael James
And remembering the night that he was conceived,
Is my most precious gift in life
And one that I was ecstatic to finally receive!
