Love, a sense of belonging,
A common feeling of caring.
Heartbreak, severe loneliness,
A common feeling of emptiness.

Bipolar is a common explanation,
But there is no real vaccination.
There's no way to escape it,
There's no way to take it.

It's in your blood,
It's part of you,
It's what you feel
It's what you do

Don't start trying to run,
It'll hunt you down.
It brings you down at the point of a gun,
Shuts you up with the slightest sound.

Say your prayer and close your eyes,
Heartbreak is here to stay for the night.

Love can be like a sea storm,
And if you survive you will end up lost and torn,
feeling so cold and far away,
instead of warm and here to stay

When you reach civilization,
You feel like you went on the opposite of a vacation,
Instead of sunshine you feel pain,

But in this wild wacky world,
Everything heals with time,
And feelings began to unfurl,
Then you no longer feel like grime

So put your smile back on,
And put your heart on your sleeve,
but don't give it up like a pawn,
So that you will save some grief
