I'm Sorry Poem

Words were spoken that weren't meant and now there is much damage that must be mended

Now You Are Gone

© Quenette L. Hernandez
A heart is torn open,
A love is broken,
A life is empty,
With few words spoken.

The words are spoken,
Are what I appear?
Like the loss of your love,
Is the blank I fear?

Knowing you hate me,
Is a terrible fate?
I thought the there was hope,
But it was too late.

What is spoken is spoken,
And what is done is done,
I spoke without thinking,
And know you are gone.

I hope one day that I will
Earn your heart back
Because I still truly love you
And that us a fact.

  • I had misunderstanding with the one I love and we both said hurtful things to each other and I'm forever feeling so miserable without her and honestly she's all I am in life.
