Addiction Poem
Oh How I Wish I Could
©

I waste my days with Thinking back
On the past
Wasting away my days with thinking
Everyone believes life is fine
But my hands are shaking
My mind is racing
All I want to do
Is to leave it alone and Move On
Move on
All I want to do
Is make it through
My hands are shaking
I wish someone was here
To keep my hands from shaking
And help me move on
‘Cause that is all I need to do
Move on
I need you to help me be strong
All my faith is gone.
I don’t think I’m going to make it through
But all I need is to move one and I hope you will help me through
On the past
Wasting away my days with thinking
Everyone believes life is fine
But my hands are shaking
My mind is racing
All I want to do
Is to leave it alone and Move On
Move on
All I want to do
Is make it through
My hands are shaking
I wish someone was here
To keep my hands from shaking
And help me move on
‘Cause that is all I need to do
Move on
I need you to help me be strong
All my faith is gone.
I don’t think I’m going to make it through
But all I need is to move one and I hope you will help me through
