Nephew Poem

When I was eighteen years old my nephew and two nieces were ripped out of my life. They were put in foster homes. I still do not know why....everyday I cry because they were with me everyday since they were born. I also lost a young nephew. He died at around almost a year old from Pneumonia. I miss him dearly. This is for them !!!!

Oh My Dear Nephew

© Tabitha Hamilton
I'll never forget the beautiful days we shared
Lovely walks to the park
teasing dogs as they bark
I'll never let go of our memories
drawing art in my room
playing with your trucks
vroom vroom vroom
Many days have passed by
OH the tears that have filled my eyes
praying that I solve the lies
that tore us apart that very night
Never will life be the same
for you are gone that is a shame
One day again I'll so you soon
Fair well my little man
