Children Poem

This poem expresses some of the great value of children for through them we live eternally.

A Girl Named Paige

© Karen E. Henderson

A girl named Paige came from the light
A girl so beautiful, strong and bright
A girl named Paige came to my life
When it was dark and full of strife

A little girl for me to hold
To keep me young when I am old
A girl for me to love and teach
Please never be beyond my reach

This girl will be a woman soon
She will light the sky just like the moon
This girl named Paige, her future is sure
And I pray the Angels watch over her

When I have gone to dust and age
A part of me lives in a girl named Paige
