Missing You Poem

The author who will soon be passing on urges her friend to remember her only in rejoicing.

Remember Me

© Brittany L. Holder
Remember me when you're playing a game of dominoes
Remember me during your high & lows
Remember me as you laugh & joke with friends
The experiences we shared will never end
I hope I touched you in my own way,
But if I didn't you'll think of me & I will one day
Remember me when you look up a the sky
Knowing that my spirit flew so high
Beyond the gates of this world
Into a better world
Whether a friend, family member, or domino partner, I'll remember you
Just as long as you promise to remember me too
Don't cry because you are sad,
cry to celebrate my resurrection
