Cancer Poem

This poem is about my mother and how I watched her suffer with breast cancer for 7 years. God Bless everyone who beats this disease.

Sick Mother

© Peggy
So quiet and so deep,
I sit here and watch you sleep.
I watch you as your body lies peacefully.
I'm scared,
you're scared,
will we ever get through this?
You've graced us with your presence
for so many years,
please God,
take her now so we can fight our tears.
I wish you could be here to watch us all grow
but it's time now,
it's time now mom,
time for you to go.
