Someone Else's Hand

It makes me sad
To know he is outside
Holding someone else's hand
Not remembering who I am,
While I still have his name tattooed to my heart,
Doing nothing else with my time
Other than hoping that once again he will be mine.

This was a really great poem. I'm 16 years old, and my boyfriend is 14, and he broke up with me to be with my sister. When she went to his house this past weekend, he kissed her while we were dating. I confronted her about it, and she said I did not let him kiss me and I said that's a lie. He broke up with me to try to get back with my sister, but little does he know she is dating someone. No, I will not go back to him.

I was going through a hard time when I was still with my ex and he made me feel very sad all the time and very alone. I felt no love at times for him when he did to me the unthinkable, so I knew there was no more love for us left and I had to let him go. I wrote this poem when I was thinking about breaking up with him the next time I saw him.
