Thank You Poem for Friends

The real test of friendship is being there for your friend even when you have worries of your own.

Thank You

© Amanda Hibbler
I felt like my world was caving in and I was so hurt inside,
I swore up and down that no one felt the same way I did so I cried.
You saw me crying and came to help,
at that moment you felt everything that I felt.
You are the sweetest person I've ever met and I like talking to you,
in my eyes you're very successful and yet you feel the same way I do.
And even though you were going through what you were going through,
you gave me a hug and helped me get through my drama too.
The reason for writing this isn't to tell you that I like you.
It's to tell you that I love you as a friend and Thank You.
