Thank You Poem

Thank You Mom

© Saide
You are my friend, my heart, my soul,
You are the best friend that I know.
You taught me how to live my life.
You are the one who taught me wrong from right.
You are the one who taught me to reach for the stars.
I hope I become the woman that you are.
You stayed when I tried to push you away,
Thanks mom for staying anyway.
I LOVE YOU MOM!!!!

  • I have not gone home for eight months now. I have no reason because my mum is the best. She calls me every now and then but I haven't made any effort to go and see her. The poem has really touched me and I'll make sure next weekend I see her. Thank you for reminding me of how important she is to me.
