Poem on Friendship

A friendship can list an instant, and be conveyed simply by eye contact, but its impact may last forever

Thanks For The Smile

© Janet E. Revels

You are the one I see each day
Passing in traffic, going my way
Stopped at a light with nothing to do
Glancing around caught a glimpse of you
The weight of the world was in my eye
My faith nearly gone and I wanted to cry
But as I glared though my window a while
I wanted to say, thanks for the smile.
