Birth Poem
My name is Zaarenetta Williams proud mother of three beautiful girls, Zy'yaire, Zyyon'na and Zola. I love writing. My girls are my inspirations of most of my work. I'm not rich financially but doubly rich with these treasures the Lord has placed in my life.
The Night Before Zola Came

It was right before the baby came, and all through the place, everyone was excited with a smile on their face.
The nursery was decorated, with tender loving care,
in hopes the new baby soon would be there.
Zy'yaire and Zyyon'na hurried to bed, with hopes of meeting their new sibling swirling in their heads.
And Mike was watching TV. and I sipping tea, had just settled down for a moment of peace.
when in my belly, there was a jab and a kick. I said come on Mike and make it Quick! rapidly, rapidly, I flew like a flash, and I looked around and Mike too was making a dash!
He had Zy' in one arm and 'Onor too, "Hey Mike" I yelled don't forget their shoes!
We dropped the girls off and Mike sped away fast. "OMIGOODNESS!" I yelled. "Did you remember to get gas?
"Sit back and relax" Mike said with a smile. "Everything's okay, we'll be there in a while"
Another quick and a jab and my smile went away. There was definitely going to be a baby born today.
We arrived at the Hospital and we ran right in. "Hello, we were expecting you" the nurse said with a grin.
They placed me in the bed and went right to task, iv's health checks and had lots of questions to ask.
Mike was by my side and held my hand. Like Salt and Pepa said, "What a man!, What a man!,
"The time has come" I heard the nurse shout and in came the doctor to take the baby out!,
1-2-3 Push!!!! the nurse and doc chanted. "OK here goes!" I grunted and panted.
"Here she comes! Mike yelled in my ear,
"come on, one more time" the doctor said, "she's almost here. With another quick push the baby came fast. Is it a boy? Is it a girl? I get to know at last.
"It's a girl the doctor said as he handed her to me, which was a surprise 'cause I thought the she was going to be a he!,
I looked at my little girl and was overcome with glee, The Lord has once again blessed little ol' me.
The girls would be excited I couldn't wait to call, to let them know there were now three girls in all!
So here's the newest member of our family: Zola Ayanna Carolyn Afie. Thank you Heavenly Father for once again blessing me!
