Father Poem

I wrote this poem because my father died this year on September 20, 2008. I loved my father more than anything, He was a wonderful father. He was here for me when I needed him to be here for me.

Dad,
I love you.
Whenever I saw you,
You would put a smile on my face.
You cheered me up
When I was feeling down.
You cheered me on
When I was doing good,
You made me laugh and giggle,
Whenever you tickled me on my feet,
Whenever I fell,
You would pick me up and put me back on my feet.
You made me proud
When you never gave up and you kept trying.
You never let anything stand in your way.
That's why I love you!
