There is nothing more painful than the loss of a child. I have experienced that loss.
I hope my poetry brings comfort and hope to others to have lost a child.

Thou Art God

Though it's hard to comprehend
why our child had to die,
we'll not dwell upon the question
nor will we ask God why.

Although our hearts are breaking
from the sorrow we now feel,
dear Father up in heaven
we trust thy wisdom and will.

Thou art God, the greatest of all,
from whom all blessings flow.
Much in life we don't understand
but we know all we need to know.

We know our child is in Thy care,
and though we don't know when,
in Thy time, Dear Lord we know
we will see our child again.
