Through My Daughter's Eyes

©

Published by Family Friend Poems July 2006 with permission of the Author.

I see the whole world in a new light
Through my daughter's eyes
I don't see the bad, only the good
I see the wonder that every day holds for her,
Something new in a flower
That I never saw before
Something magic in her mind
That shines through her eyes out into her world
I only wish that my eyes still held that magic
That magic that I see only through
My Daughter's eyes.
