Mother Poem
A mother promises her daughter that although her father has left them, she can always rely on her mother and family when times are tough.
To My Child

I know the world seems hard now
But when you are older you will see,
That no matter what happens in life
You will always have me.
I know that you are upset because daddy walked out of your life
And you think that I caused it to be like this,
But if there is anything I can do to make you feel better
I will even if it's just a kiss.
Sometimes life will get us down
And we all have to try to stay strong,
We have to be there for each other no matter what
Even when it feels wrong.
And although your daddy isn't here with you
I will do my best to heal all the pain and tears,
To hold you when you aren't feeling good,
To comfort you through all the fears.
One day you will realize
That when the world walks out on you,
No one will love you more
Then me and your family too.
Now I can’t promise you the bluest skies
Or even that your dreams will come true,
But I will make your life happy and complete
And I'll always be here for you.
