Daughter Poem

Knowing that you unconditionally loved makes the whole world look different.

My Daughter

© Deanna M. Eller
Sitting alone in my room,
everything seems dark and gray.
The more I sit and think,
the more useless I feel,
the more hopeless life seems.
I cry...
until I think of you.
Your smile radiates warmth,
like the sun on a summer day.
You're my life, my everything.
And things look clearer because
I know I have your love...
unconditionally.

  • My daughter and I have been thru a rough life as single mothers, we have our disagreements, we argue, we fight, but I want my daughter to know that she is my world and reason for living and if I did not have her by my side I would die of sadness, she's my best friend and she'll always be my baby girl no matter how old she is, I love her unconditionally. Love you Jessica from: MOM
