Hate Poem

My real dad left me when I was born. And this is what my thoughts are on that subject....

You Better Be Ready For Me.....

© Aaron Rodriguez
Hey you! Yeah, I'm talking to you, "Dad"!
Where were you when I needed you the most in my life?
You were never at my side,
You just wanted a carefree life.
Where were you when I was growing up?
You were busy starting over,
Drinking from your golden cup.
Did you pretend that I don't exist anymore,
As you were finding someone new?
Well, I hope you cherish everyday you live,
Because I'm coming for you.
Never at a birthday nor graduation,
You didn't care for me, that's clear.
I hope you have a good story for this,
Because it's one I'm dying to hear.

  • This poem reminds be of my own father who was never there for me.
He was with his other happy family his girlfriend and her 2 kids.
Whenever I was around they pretended I didn't exist.
I finally had the guts to tell him to go get f*#ked this year and to stay out of my life
since then it's been a battle but I'm going to win

  • I'm 16 years old. I was put in a orphanage cause my mom who did crack and I was born drug abused, and my dad who smoked weed and made me starve, who always got drunk and came home and beat my family. I was found homeless as a kid at 5 years old by myself looking for food, finally found and forgotten and can't wait to see the day and find my dad and find out because I'm dying to hear his story of why he did what he did
