Son Poem

letter from Mommy and Daddy to their Son on the day that her opened his heart

Andrew

© Lori A. Sheetz

Today you opened your heart!
No more can you remain silent,
For whether you like it or not,
you've got a heart for feeling,
- for living, for loving!

But don't you worry,
For you will be welcomed
by arms of love!

When you cry, I will hold you
and comfort you!
And when you smile and laugh,
I will smile and laugh with you.
And when you accomplish something,
I will be proud of you!

Welcome to this world!
And welcome into our hearts!

Love,

Mommy and Daddy
