This poem is dedicated to my grandpa Thurman Priest Sharples Jr. "Skip" for short. He passed 4 months ago of cancer. God Bless You Grandpa and I miss you.

My Grandpa

©  Stephanie Rhault
My Grandpa could never keep a frown
He always had a way of making you laugh.

My Grandpa will be forever in our hearts
He is in G-d’s Hands now.

My Grandpa was a good Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.

At times I would say I love you and he would never say it back, but I always knew he loved me from his facial expression.

My Grandpa was the best ever and I will miss him very much, but I know he’s not suffering anymore and he’s probably up there telling me to stop crying because I’m with your Oma and everyone you love.

God Bless grandpa. I miss you.
