I wrote this when my boyfriend lied to me, and then when we broke up I felt so guilty, as I found out he was dying. This broke my heart and I'll never forget him.
Betrayal

Ami
I don’t know what to do know,
As you gradually drift from view,
You lied to them and hurt me so,
But I won’t stop loving you.
You told me that you’re leaving me,
The tears poured down my cheeks,
Soon there will be nothing left,
Years, months, weeks?
Then you lied and said it was me,
That innocent kiss we shared,
My beating heart meant nothing to you,
Although you said you cared.
My friends, they thought they trusted you,
But then you proved them wrong,
The liars’ wrath was calling you,
A lonely sirens song.
A vow of silence, you have sworn,
To nobody but me,
How sad I’ll be when you’re not there,
Don’t call it destiny.
