I ran away from home and got thrown into juvie. for running away. that's got to be wrong. there's obv. a reason I ran, why would you lock someone up for that?

Twenty Two Days

©  Jessica
I don’t think you understand exactly how I feel
I don’t see how you could, you’d have to live my life for real
you weren’t there with me so you cant know what it was like
locked up for twenty two days, with what felt like life
I don’t understand how they do it, there for so long
people go for so much longer, for reasons that seem so wrong

twenty two days without feeling, without even seeing the sky
twenty two days without knowing, is it sunny or is it gray
twenty two days without asking, learning my own fate
twenty two day of learning to hate.
