I'm going into high school this year. But it seems too soon because all the things I've really done in my life were back in elementry school. It's like I spent intermediate school just living in those memories and not making any new ones, and I vow to change that this year.

When I look back on the last three years of my life
There’s nothing to consider, nothing but air
Three years of nostalgia over the previous five
An out of body experience-
Going through motions but not truly alive
I wasn’t interesting, did nothing worthwhile
Nothing that I can look back on and smile
I can’t look back on what was me looking back
For all I see is echoes
From some time, some place
I can’t live my life on what used to be
I have to take charge be bubble bursting
I’m ready to try again-
Make acts matter.
Nostalgia’s out, what’s in is Wow.
