Friendship Poem by Teens

I thank the morning sol
For granting a friend like you
Brightening my soul
With a beautiful hue

Behold the turquoise azure
When the sun rises high
I see you in that sun for sure
Illuminating the entire sky

As the day of a leaf
Begins with a drop of dew
I break the ice with
You and only You!

When the nightingale chants
Solace it brings to weary bands
Whenever I’m in the blue
By god’s grace I have you

In your eyes the spark of daring
In your hands the essence of sharing
In your soul the magic of caring
On the whole a character of flaring

When I was lost in the sea of apprehension
You came and removed my tension
Thank you for the trigger
Which, filled me with a new vigor

This poem, I thus penned
For my evergreen friend
Brimming with endless virtues
Like the ocean blues
