This is about me saying bye to a boy that I had dated 2 years. I am but 14

Good-Bye

©  Haley Harper
when you hold me,
I feel safe and I feel like flying.
but when you kissed me I felt no sparks.

you say you care,
but I know that you don't.
you did at first,
but that was in the past.

when you hang around your friends,
you act as if I'm not there.
when we get home,
we argue non-stop.

you say that you love me,
but I feel that you don't.
I don't see in your eyes that same old sparkle that was always there.

you put me through tears,
and made me have fears.
and all you did to make me feel better,
was kiss me and say sorry.
but haven't you noticed,
that saying sorry isn't enough?

I guess that I can't say,
that I love you.
because of this I have to say good-bye.
and don't worry about hurting me anymore,
because I won't be here to say,
that it's ok.
