Since its inception, Family Friend Poems has received thousands of user-submitted poems spanning dozens of highly emotional topics. From the emotional highs of a newborn child, reuniting with a loved one, or the beginning of a marriage to the emotional lows of losing a family member, dealing with addiction, and betrayal. We feel that we have a certain sense of responsibility to all of our poets and our visitors, especially those that are dealing with extraordinary amounts of emotional pain and suffering. For every individual brave enough to share their story on our website, there are thousands more who take some level of solace identifying with and relating to the experiences and emotions shared in these poems.

Family Friend Poems is proud to announce the introduction of our We Care program, where we will be dedicating some of our most viewed and most touching poems to charitable non-profit organizations that can provide assistance for our visitors. The goal of these dedications is to both raise awareness and funding to truly great organizations while offering assistance to our visitors whom could benefit from the self-help resources and counseling offered by these great organizations.
