Lazy Day In The Summer

I was sitting outside one day in the summer and it was hot and I was bored.

As Time Passes Me By

The butterflies are floating through the air.
The grass is green,
and the trees are tall.
As the wind whistles through my hair,
I let life pass me by.
As time ticks and the clock goes by,
the flowers grow taller as life passes me by.
And I dream of floating right on by.
But now it's time to stop dreaming,
and wake up to a hot summer day.

The Blending Seasons: The springtime aromas blend with the early summer smells. The neighbors are meeting, the children with their yells. School is now over, no pencils no books. Happy smiles planted for the summertime looks. Beautiful sunrises, soft summer breezes, a lake that looks like glass. The boats with fishermen, some that paddle, some that cruise by and wave when they pass. Spring blends into summer with the colors entwined as they meet. When you stop and smell the flowers the aroma is ever so sweet. Summer is fun and games until the night draws near. Stop and smell the roses, take pictures with poses, make memories that last forever. Having fun with family and friends because you had the chance to get together. Then a bonfire is lit and the marshmallows get toasted. S'mores we are making, dears. Now on to bed, sweet dreams in their heads as they say goodnight to all. With hopes that summer will stay for awhile before it turns into fall.
