My heart beats faintly,
Like a whisper through the trees,
Like a song in a morning breeze.
My end is coming,
Like a tide falling from the beach.
No stopping it, it's out of reach.
The cancer spreads,
Like death in a brush fire,
Like rumors from a liar.
That's my life now.
No stopping it.
I'm too weak,
Too strong.
Can't hold on,
I am gone.

My Meme had cancer. She died five years ago, and it is really sad. She had breast cancer, and it spread everywhere, and that is how she died. Your heart does beat faintly, and you, your family, and friends know that your end is coming. It is so sad, but it is true. Cancer almost always spreads, and there is no stopping it. You are in so much pain. You are too weak, can't hold on, and then you are gone, just like my Meme.
