Unseen Misery

There was this girl
Who had a great deal of pain
She been raped and beat
She had hurt and hatred running through her veins

She hid her misery
Oh so very well
No one knew
She had no one to tell

She went through life
Having everyone fooled
School was unbearable
So she became home schooled

No one seen
The cries she cried
But if you looked deep within
You could see it in her eyes

She needed someone
A friend
Someone there
A helping hand

She cut herself
Until she died
And now her friends live
With the guilt deep down inside

If only someone saw
her soul was blistery
If only some one knew about
her unseen misery

I cut myself, it's a horrible truth. I'm addicted to pain. I need help. I can't control it anymore. I've pondered suicide so many times, but didn't attempt. I fell in love with this poem when I read it. I've been so mistreated, tortured and abused in mental and physical ways . But, I'm happy to know I'm not alone .

I have to say this poem is my whole life. I've felt like this my whole life, like no one understands, nobody cares. I feel so sad sometimes, because no knows how much pain I've gone through. My father was a drug addict and he used to beat me up and hurt me. He brought a lot of pain to me. Sometimes I feel like I can't go on in this world and just end it all. Poetry and cutting are the only things that make the pain go away.

Sometimes life is so unfair. I don't get why there is no clear division between good and bad people, why do the bad people in the world get by scot free, while the good ones suffer? People say, no good deed goes unpunished, that's so true.

This poem really makes you think twice about things like you need to pay more attention to people about their feelings because you never know what they might be going through

I felt the same thing when I was little. I was always miserable and lonely outside and inside of my home. Nobody ever dares to look at me as I'm a human being. I carried too much pain when I was growing up and writing poetry was the only thing that helped me to release my misery.
