Acknowledge Me As A Person

People gossip a lot about me in school for being a gay wiccan and a "weirdo".

Say what you want
Though I hear what you say

I hear it's gay
I hear it's a whore
I hear it's evil
I hear it's a demon
It's a girl
It's a boy
It's a witch
It's a murderer

Say what you want
Though I hear what you say
Say what you want
BUT DON'T CALL ME IT!!!

Don't be too hard on yourself. You know..I always experience this kind of discrimination as much as you do. I know the feeling is so cruel, hated and so desperate.
I wonder why people treat their own kin like this, hurting, isolating and through this they've shown their own cruelty and inhumanity within themselves. They just don't accept the differences of each person. But the most important thing is that we are all human beings, we live for love not for hatred and for making a better world, not destroying it. There are, actually, no differences of sexualities, they have only one common purpose: love. Why would deny the purpose that all of us are seeking?
You must be strong, but through this poem I think that you are a very tough person but somewhat gentle, innocent and sweet. But don't give into fears! Don't let hatreds rule over your mind. Let our hearts show us the right path instead of following our situations to dark places. If we don't follow our hearts, we are no different from them.
