He's Gone

He's gone,
The one I love,
The one I admire,
Who puts my hopes to fire.
My hero, the one who sets my heart in desire.
He guided me,
He pushed me to achieve,
But after all this, he leaves.
The one I cherish, the one who set my goals.
Then he goes.
He's gone.
Why did this have to happen?
Why did he have to hit the road?
Without him, I'm a sunken boat.
I have his memories, his childhood, a part of his life...
Now he has a wife.
He's gone.

When reading this poem, it reminded me so much of this one guy that I love very much. It all started in youth group. One day, he and this guy were messing with me and they make me cry. He ended up giving me a flower to stop the crying. That is when I start to fall in love with him. Whenever we were in church, we always sat together at the end of the church. I feel so happy just to be next to him and him holding my hand. But as we got older, this feeling for him start to go deeper and deeper. When he graduated from college and got married, he totally forgot about our feeling. He left me in the dark. The worst thing is, every single time we saw each other at church, we couldn't stop looking at each other. And then he stopped coming to church because he doesn't want to see me anymore. To me, he's gone. I can no longer have him. I can only hold this feeling for him inside my heart and never let go.
