Is something wrong?
I can see it in your eyes.
What is going on?
What's with all the lies?
Please tell me now.
I want to know.
Don't hide it inside.
Let your feelings show.
Is it to hard?
Please tell me the truth.
Maybe I can help,
Or your feelings I can sooth.
Is it a death?
Please don't be sad.
Is it your grandparents?
Or your mom and dad?
Don't be too glum.
I'll help you out,
Even if u just there,
Cry, or pout.
I'm your friend.
That's what I'm here for.
Don't lock me out,
Don't close the door.

I have a very special friend. He's always been there for me through thick and thin. He inspires me to be a better person. And even though I'm a woman and he's a man, he's my best friend.

Some people in this world don't believe a man and woman can be best friends. That is so sad and has probably caused a lot of friendships not to be, but I truly had a male best friend for 3 years until he had a massive heart attack and died last year. Oh how I miss him! I have female friends and one best female friend whom I treasure, but it's not the same. I have always been married and wasn't allowed to have male friends, so treasure him and let him know how much he means to you. I'm so grateful my friend knew I loved him, and we always told that to each other every time we said goodbye, whether in person or on the phone! You're very lucky! I hope it lasts a lifetime. Good luck to you!
