A Man I Once Knew

Published: November 2007

He tried to call his family,
His heart was full of pain,
He wondered how to do it,
By knife or by the train.
He was crying and depressed,
But no one even knew,
That the day they all would hate,
Would sadly once come true.
He drove his car into the wall,
He didn't even brake.
My Uncle was so depressed
he felt it was the road to take.
Because he took his life away,
My family's hearts have had to pay.
It has been ten years to this day,
And we still a wonder why.
But at least we know
He is really safe with my grandpa in the sky.
