Today you opened your heart!
No more can you remain silent,
For whether you like it or not,
you've got a heart for feeling,
- for living, for loving!

But don't you worry,
For you will be welcomed
by arms of love!

When you cry, I will hold you
and comfort you!
And when you smile and laugh,
I will smile and laugh with you.
And when you accomplish something,
I will be proud of you!

Welcome to this world!
And welcome into our hearts!

Love,

Mommy and Daddy

My son Roger, (I've called him Rogie, still do) has been my light, my little ray of sunshine.
As a little boy he was always always very inspiring, sweet, kind and always such a good boy As he was growing up he and I liked the same movies, cartoons all kinds of things. We just have that special connection.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with cancer, I was at the emergency room. It was pouring rain out. He got the call and ran 3 miles from his house to the hospital in shorts, socks and a T-shirt.
Ran in my room and immediately hugged me and would not let go.
Talk about a son's devotion
