My Babbling Heart
Giggles, squeals and ticklish heels.
Tantrums, sighs and watery eyes.
A big gummy grin and wet sloppy kiss,
A frustrated grumble and clenched little fists.

Our children are here to stay
But our babies are not, I'm sorry to say
They grow and learn everyday
In the most remarkable and intriguing way...
Yes it has very much so because I lost my 17 year old baby in march 2009 and it was like losing my heart and soul, my own life.

If I could I would remove all your fears

Undying love, Unshakeable faith
Big little hugs of the tightest embrace
Heart melting smiles, Giggles of joy
The sound of pitter patter running across the floor...

Their fists held tight around the crayons;
Circles and lines were everywhere...
All these feelings make it hard to breathe
I pray to just feel numb.
But no amount of praying
Will make the sunshine come....
It starts when they're first born
Your heart in the palm of their hand
They're so very, very helpless
So you vow to do all that you can...
