43. Lady Gagas Dress
I was at home watching TV
flicking the channels what could I see
lady gaga got an award and as she got out of her seat
I was amazed she was wearing a dress made of meatFeatured Shared Story
Awesome poem! It's really funny. I wish I could write poems like you do.
T'was the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a creature was sleeping -- not pet, child or spouse.
The people were tossing and turning in beds
With visions of bills dancing 'round in their heads.Featured Shared Story
Why does this sound like it may happen... Awesome poem by the way.
On New Year's Day my cat ran away
For Valentine's Day, no girls mould be mine
On St. Patty's day I got pinched by some laddys
On Easter I lost all my eggs to an old geezer...
47. Writing Block
I can not write a poem; my brain feels fried.
It can do no more.
It is as though all my creativity has been trapped, isolated in a room without a door.

I feel the same way, but it takes like a month or two to finish one poem. When I do, some of them don't make sense.
You're the love of my life and the cause of my strife
You dirty cigarette
I've made many mistakes in my many days
But you are my one regretFeatured Shared Story

49. Christmas Golf
Back in October a Christmas wish I made.
A brand new set of golf clubs before next year I played.
Then on Christmas morn, with my eyes I spied
An oblong box under the tree, with ribbon wrapped and tied.
Now see the beautiful sunset ore the ocean blue
Fiery colors do abound, of poems there are a few
I wish that I could write one, about that perfect hue
But nothing rhymes with orangeFeatured Shared Story
This orange poem has tickled my fancy. Let me give it a go... Porridge is a dreary word that always rhymes with orange. While strawberries and blueberries may make a soothing pair....
A chimp named Bob had a fancy
For a banana tree
That lived in the jungle nearby
His love was plain to see....Featured Shared Story
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die. Cherish the moments we had together, for I promise you Dear, there time lasts forever. So when you pass by that marble placed...
Buster, Sparkle, Newbie, Speedy
and then there's Pixie our smallest kitty,
One, two, three and four and five,
they're so frisky, so alive.Featured Shared Story
An adorable poem for a cat lover. This poem reminds me of all the cats I used to have and will have.
As I walked along the road one day
Kicking up stones along the way,
I saw a bird of unusual size
Who had a large beak and small, beady eyes....Featured Shared Story
This is a lovely tale. It brings me back to my childhood on the turkey farm. I grew up in Czechoslovakia and owned a tiny turkey farm. I loved all the turkeys, especially Rogersic, until he...
