I Believe
I don't claim to be an expert
In whom all wisdom does rest,
But in all things I'm involved,
I try to do my very best.
I don't claim to be an expert
In whom all wisdom does rest,
But in all things I'm involved,
I try to do my very best.

We are never finished products,
No matter how long we live.
There's always something we can add,
Like learning to forgive.
I know you see me,
I know you're there,
But in my heart it's not fair.
If I look up I see the sky,
Recently my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm her "Soul Mate" she tells me. This poem touched me, and reminded me not to give up faith. I believe.

I stand in a stream of madness
And take a moment to still my fears.
In the aisles of dreams and sadness,
You were there throughout the years.
What are miracles, from where do they
come?
How do we trust what we can't see
or touch?
A new day is beginning.
Burnt orange hues
Color the distant skies.
Dew drops, a glistening symphony

Depression is real
It zaps your zeal
Weakens the bones
Confuses the tones
Travelers in the Sea of Life,
being guided by worry and strife,
floating rudderless toward desperate straights,
drifting aimlessly towards whatever awaits,
Send me an angel when I have a bad day,
Send me an angel at night while I lay.
Send me an angel when troubles take over,
Send me an angel to find me a lover.
Abandon your fears.
Let go of old worries.
When things don't seem to be going your way,
And bad turns to worse,
