Heads you win,
Tails you lose,
Such a childish game
Yet here I am,

Heads you win,
Tails you lose,
Such a childish game
Yet here I am,
Flipping a coin
Over and over again.

Heads you love me
Tails you don't.
My heart yearns for more.
It yearns for truth,
The words in your mind,
The emotions in your core.

Heads I love you,
Tails I don't.
Trying to make sense of this.
How do I feel?
What do I feel?
Or is this simply a trick?

Heads you think about me,
Tails you don't.
Do I ever cross your mind?
Do you ever worry about me?
Wish I were there?
Have you ever given me a sign?

Heads you win,
Tails you lose.
Such a childish game.
Yet here I am,

Clarity And Strength To End An Unhealthy Relationship

You pass me wtihout speaking
as if I was this stranger not worth meeting.
But, nobody knows the memories we shared
nobody knows that we both cared.

You hide me behind all your insecurities
buried with all your unclaimed maturities.
But, my heart is no longer your walk in closet
the place you would leave your regrets.
I will no longer be your back up plan
it's time for me to take a stand.
Your silence is what lead you here
I grew tired of being locked away in your fears.
Out of the darkness and into the light
I know now everything for me will be alright.

She walks by me,

I know I can't have it both ways
We had a certain amount of days

But I still think of you

Even though it hurts, it's true

I know she's your type,
But I don't get the hype

You used to love the way I'd write
Songs for you; you said it was a delight

Was I so blind to imagine
All the things that could have happened?

Don't tell me it's all in my head
That gives me something else to dread

Because I swear that when you look at me
There's something there only you and I can see

So tell me why you would leave
At first, it was hard to believe

And yet even today,
You still look my way

When I talk to your friend
You look like you can't comprehend

Why I'm talking to them
It's like you condemn

All the words you never said

How do you know it's over,
when your heart can't take anymore?
How do you know when they don't care,
and just walk out the door?

like the friendship never was?
What if she looks right through me,
and ignores me just because?
How can you just deny the feelings,
the ones you've had for so long?
How can you fix everything
because everything's all wrong?
What words can be said,
what else can I say?
What words can I whisper,
to get you to stay?
How should I act,
when you've just turned your back on me?
How should I act,
to get you to turn back and see?
What can I do,
what will get through to you?
What can I do,
so I can act like I can't feel too?
But I guess the silence is enough for
