Another day, another hour, another minute,
Another smile, another tear I thought was worth it.
Another wound that's hard to heal and hard to close,
Another path I have to take, not something I chose.

A year passes by, day after day,
Full of tears and pain, there's nothing I can say.
Been trapped for so long, can't take anymore.
I begin to wonder, are you still worth fighting for?

This state I'm in, this feeling of pain,
I question myself, what's there to gain?
Here in my head, here in my mind,
There's no reason there my heart can find.

I love you too much, it's been too long,
My heart's screaming out, "Everything's wrong!"
And yet you don't seem to care,
And I know you know this isn't fair.

Could you be any more insensitive?
You're making it so hard to believe.
You say you like me, please, as if!
If I leave you, you'd be relieved!

There is something about me
Everyone wonders what that could be
could it be my smile
what about my laugh
or the happiness I bring

To me it's all fake
Nothing about this shield is true
My smile is frowning
Laughing comes out as weeps
My happiness is always sad

The story about my life
Has never been said
Everyone loves my mask
They tell me they love me
I can't believe them one bit
my emotions are all fake

I don't want people comforting me
For the way I choose to live
It's my life
You can not lead it as you choose
Though I wish you could

Pain is not an emotion I know
Yet it's all I know
I can't feel it
Nor can I heal it

It happens all the time
For me, it's all I know

I've experienced first hand a fathers abuse
Yeah, sometimes it hurt
But I grew numb to the pain

I've witness my mother cry
And every time I wanted to die

That's all in the past now
But the memories still  last

This may be hard to believe
For a girl whose just sixteen
But when I think the memories have left me
They come back to haunt me

You may find it hard to believe
But sometimes late at night I cry
Until I feel dead inside

So don't think I don't know pain
Because pain is all I've know.

inside of me
there's a girl you do not see
she's nice, friendly, and talented
but she'll never be me
she can "walk the walk"
and "talk the talk"
but she's not really me
trapped, and alone
she will not be freed
she's not me and never will be
trapped inside
she will hide
like an bird that can't fly
she's trapped forever
never to be released
by me.

Thinking about my Life
Crying in every minute
Never hoping for something
Because I'm hopeless

Hurtful words I heard
Times I got insulted
Way I got harassed
Always make me tearful

World's impression toward me
Made me question my life

My tears are real
My smile is fake
My eyes are genuine
They say the truth

Afraid of regret
I take a breath and try to deal with the battle that is set
My heart tears me one way
In opposing corners my best friend and my mind
No move can I make that solves this problem
So strong the will in my heart- it will not let me move
In this place I am put
Onwards I charge in the presence of my peers
Pressing to each occasion
With a stiff smile forced upon my somber face
Eventually I shut down in my room
Alone-as I'm used to it
With a tear formed in the crevice of my eye
Making its way down my cheek
Knowing I don't belong here
I need someone to love me,
But alone I am left
Alone I forever will be
Afraid of regret.

The world is crumbling in around me and it's all landing on top of me
I'm all alone carrying every one's weight.
Every one's tears, pain, loss, and regrets.
I am no hero, nor am I a savior.
I can't even handle my own emotions and problems by myself...
How can I be expected to carry everybody else's?
People say your destiny starts when you least expect it.
Well then is this my destiny?!
Is this the path I am destined to take?!
The path of sorrow and pain?!
The destiny of a stronger, braver, less selfish person
Than I?
My bones are growing weaker by the second,
My hope vanishing by the minute.
The air is becoming thinner as I continue my journey,
The walls closing in tighter around me with every step
I'm being suffocated by the tortures people can't handle,
I can feel the fiery venom of death straining the walls of my veins,
Scorching the insides of my lungs
The elements seem to keep me from ending the torture of this path,
This life,
This destiny.
It's as if some unseen force
Is pushing me past my breaking point
Turning me into...
A monster
A creature so horrifying
I cannot bear to look in the mirror...
In fear of what I may see
It's almost as if I am no longer myself,
Like I am somebody else.
And I am watching this other person...
Get tortured
And bleed
I stand there watching
This beast,
This other person,
This other me
Cry herself to sleep every night because she wishes
All the torture,
All the pain,
And all the suffering
Will end
But it doesn't.
And it never will...
For death is a gift she will never...

I know all about my ABC's and 123's,
but I don't know how to just be me.
I know I have a heart,
but I don't know why it's so easily ripped apart.
I know that life may sometimes be hard,
but I don't know why I look like a big tub of lard.
I know how to not get burnt,
but I don't know how to not get hurt.
I know I have to work on happiness and pride,
but I don't know if my friends will always be by my side.
I know it is a sin to lie,
but I don't know how to see happy people and not cry.
I know people think I'm gorgeous in-and-out side,
but I don't know have to not call it a lie.
I guess it's time to go with the flow.
Because sometimes I just don't know.

I missed you this morning dad, you'd already gone
When will you be back dad, how long will you be?

Mum gets me up and ready for school
Mum tucks me up and kisses me night night
But I sometimes wonder dad, where have you gone?

I know you work hard dad, mum says you do
But why do go to watch football or out with your friends when I want to be with you?

I guess I am lucky, some of my friends dads have gone
But they sometimes see them at the weekend and seem to have fun

Please be home more dad so we can have fun, I'm growing up fast dad, soon I'll be gone
