Honey, my feelings for you are no different than the day I wrote you this poem. Thank you for being my best friend throughout our marriage.

I have been fortunate to be surrounded by very special women: my beautiful wife, my gorgeous daughter, and two magnificant step-daughters. I included the poem in my book, "Poetic Diversities."

Child Betrayed is dedicated to all the children suffering abuse and the adult survivors of child abuse. Too often child abuse passes from one generation to the next. If one abuser reads this poem and stops the abuse, then my poetic efforts will worth the emotional struggle I went through to write the poem.

I wrote the poem, "Our Dreams", as a Valentine gift for my wife. Since that time, over a hundred brides have requested permission to include the poem in their wedding ceremonies. My wife has given me permission to say yes to every bride.
