Poetry by Emily Breault
I got the inspiration for this poem from the book, "You Don't Know Me" by David Klass. It is about a teenage boy who is abused by his step-father and is truly amazing.
If you are someone you know is being abused you must tell somebody. I know you probably think there is no hope or that nobody will believe you but trust me, somebody will and they will help you.
Hey! I wrote this when my best friend for 6 years choose a group of popular girls over me, and I had to watch her change, over the course of a couple months, into somebody totally different.

This is dedicated to all kids out there who are bullied and feel the only way out is suicide. Somebody does care! Always remember that.
I used to look up at the stars at night and think. I wrote this a little before I started going out with my wonderful boyfriend and I hope it helps all of the people out there who are like me when I was lonely.
