Funny Poem for Kids
I wrote this poem while scratching an ant bite and wishing I'd thrown it down the toilet (or maybe inside a pool). My brother laughed out loud when he read it. I hope everyone enjoys the heartwarming idea of an unfortunate ant being crushed under the weight of my backside!
I Sat On An Ant Today

I went to the pool
Just for a cool
But when I sit,
someone throws a fit
There's an ant on my chair
Since when was he there?
When I get up,
he doesn't greet, "Sup?"
Poor little guy
My backside's a pigsty!
I tap him light
I must've given him a fright
But I realize then that it's too late,
Mr. Ant has met his fate
I will cry
I made him die
He will sing
And bells will ring
'cause he's in heaven
I am not
I sat on an ant today.
Just for a cool
But when I sit,
someone throws a fit
There's an ant on my chair
Since when was he there?
When I get up,
he doesn't greet, "Sup?"
Poor little guy
My backside's a pigsty!
I tap him light
I must've given him a fright
But I realize then that it's too late,
Mr. Ant has met his fate
I will cry
I made him die
He will sing
And bells will ring
'cause he's in heaven
I am not
I sat on an ant today.
