Poem about Spirituality

I dedicate this poem to people out there somewhere in the world who think there is not a solution to their feeling of emptiness or loneliness. Remember, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel...

Divine Intervention

Published by Family Friend Poems December 2008 with permission of the Author.

Walking down the street,
My mind is in an oblivion.
I don't know what I'm thinking.
I'm in a state of confusion,
And I have mixed feelings about nothing.
But all the same,
I have to do something with my life.
To me, there's no hope
And no hand to hold on to.
I feel like giving up now.
But then, I remember the Good Old Book,
"Come to Me all you who labor...."
"...able to do exceedingly more..."
It's then that I realize that
All hope is not lost,
Because all I ever needed was
Divine Intervention....
