Pain, Pain Go Away

Pain, pain go away!
Please do not come back another day.
Tears falling down my face.
Oh, how I wish for his warm embrace.
Wonder if he cares about me.
Wonder if this is supposed to be.
How can he stand there and break my heart?
How did we allow us to grow so far apart?
My dreams of us being happy is not going to come true.
All I am feeling is down and blue.
Pain, pain go away.
Bring me back to another day
where he loved me and
we thought we were meant to be.
I will not stop loving you; that much is true,
but I will be stronger in time
and not feel so blue.
You will always be in my heart,
even when we are apart.
One day I will have that warm embrace,
and tears will stop flowing down my face.
Pain, pain go away.
Leave me alone and do not stay.

Pain, pain, so much pain. So much trouble in this world. How can someone ever feel my pain? Broken but will continue to be spoken, reaching for a hand while sinking in quicksand. So much pain, wishing I could go back to the start, change time, and be a bit smart. I know I have a good heart, so I would play a better part... Pain, pain, so much pain. Money and wealth is worthless if there's no health, so I try to smile, hoping it will be a little while because tears of joy will come when I realize I'm not going to be played like a toy. I wish you could just understand why I feel so much pain... Pain, pain, so much pain. Go away, please don't let me go insane. Why is fear stronger than love? Oh Lord, you are above. Give me hope.

I sang this poem and my tears ran unto my cheek because I remembered how I've been so dumb when I knew he's been cheating on me but he didn't know that I knew so I pretended that everything seemed right but it wasn't. Deep inside he knew what I felt but he never did something to ease the pain.

I thought he would never cheat on me, but he did. Am hurting and feel embarrassed. Where could I have gone wrong? We used to be soulmates. But I wonder if that will ever happen again in our marriage. Am hurting and I'm failing to forget. But I will always love him.
