The Fight Of My Life

As I lie awake watching you sleep,
I cannot love you and accept defeat.
The love I have still burns strong,
Even if you're in the wrong.
I'll never stop fighting for you and I,
Even though it makes me cry.
I will fight for you till the end of time
Because I know your love is mine,
So mark my words on this day,
My efforts are here and here to stay.
I know I haven't given you my all,
But I'm not going to let us fall.
I love you with all my might,
And this is why I continue to fight.
