Girlfriend Poems

Poems for your Girlfriend

Taking care of a woman is a challenging job. This is especially true if you are her boyfriend and trying to figure out what she wants. Man and woman are a different species with different needs. How can we hope to care for each other in the way that we would like to? The truth is that it is impossible. Misunderstandings are inevitable. You cannot avoid stepping on each other's toes. The only thing you can do is to be as considerate as possible and apologize when you have wronged her.

For Her

Your lips so soft and red,
the thought of kissing you is stuck in my head.
Your beauty so bright and warm,
shinning through the darkest storm.

When I Am With Her

Recommended for Students

When I am without her, the sun doesn't shine as brightly.
When I am without her, the clouds are dark and foreboding.
When I am without her, the birds don't sing as sweetly.
When I am without her, the walls close in on me.

This is an attractive poem...really this conveys the feeling before proposing a girl, but the poet must not mention "first love"..
