Healing from heartbreak
is something one rarely does
from the moment of that day
even if it's just because

Healing is crying
when no one is around
Healing is dying
on the inside deep down

Healing is wishing
upon a star
that they would come running
from afar

Though no matter what
may go through your mind,
for them your love
will always be kind

You'll love them forever,
no matter what you say,
even if they never
give you the time of day

No one will judge you;
it's a pattern of life
that may be true,
but it'll hurt like a knife

Healing from heartbreak
never comes easy;
your body will ache,
you'll feel queasy

So heal your heart,
bandage it together;
don't pull yourself apart,
it'll always get better
